Let's Challenge

International Competition on Innovation and Invention

29 October 2026 , At the Higher School of Technology of Dakhla, Ibnou Zohr University, Morocco

Introduction

The Higher School of Technology of Dakhla - Ibnou Zohr University is honored to host the 11th edition of The International Compteition on Inovation and Invention, Let's Challenge.

Let's Challenge is a competition allowing every applicant to exhibit their projet idea and prototype in front of a jury of experts, and one of them will end up with a big prize (Coming Soon), that based on different criterias.

Held on October 29, 2026,

This edition will be held under the theme: "Artificial Intelligence for Climate Change: Coastal Risks, Flood-Prone Areas, and Smart Management".

With the acceleration of climate change, territories are increasingly exposed to major environmental risks, including sea-level rise, coastal erosion, recurrent flooding, extreme weather events, and growing pressure on natural resources. Coastal zones and flood-prone areas are among the most vulnerable territories, with direct impacts on populations, infrastructure, economic activities, and ecosystems.

In this context, Artificial Intelligence (AI), combined with data science, digital technologies, and intelligent systems, represents a key strategic lever for anticipating, analyzing, and managing these complex phenomena. AI can improve risk forecasting, real-time monitoring, decision support, as well as the intelligent and sustainable management of exposed territories.

This competition aims to promote innovative, responsible, and place-based solutions that mobilize AI to address the challenges related to coastal risks, flood-prone areas, and the smart management of territories. It also seeks to encourage projects with strong environmental, social, and economic impact while strengthening collaboration among academia, institutional stakeholders, startups, and civil society.

By putting technological innovation at the service of climate resilience, Let’s Challenge contributes to building intelligent, safe, and sustainable territories capable of adapting to climate change while protecting populations and ecosystems.
